Fishin Addiction Charters fishes from a Pontos 36’ Contender that’s powered with triple 2020 Suzuki 300s.  She comes fully equipped with a Simrad chart plotter, sounder, radar, vhf, and AIS.  For your safety we carry an 8-person life raft that’s well maintained.  Our fishing vessel is rigged up with dual live well stations where we keep live bait and can accommodate up to 1,500 lbs. of fresh caught fish under the deck where it will be out of the way for when you’re fishing.  We are a federally permitted Galveston fishing boat and fully insured.  Fishing is heating up fast and space tends to fill up.  Please give us a call to book your next Galveston fishing charter.

Galveston Fishing Season

We are currently in our transition from spring time charter fishing to our summer time Galveston fishing charters. The redfish and sharks are starting to show on our Galveston jetty fishing charters and the trout should be right behind them. We also are looking forward to our May 1-May 30th Greater Amberjack charter season. These fish are one of the hardest fighting fish that we target here in Galveston Texas on our blue-water fishing charters. Also, We will be getting an 88 day federal red snapper charter fishing season starting June 1- Aug. 18. The August blue water fishing charters will yield some of the heaviest stringers with Amberjack and red snapper season open at the same time. We are looking forward to seeing all our repeat clients as well as some new faces this summer.

I have fished all over the world. Often I get a “boat ride”. Jeff took us “Fishing “. His boat and tackle are first class. He knows the lake so we caught plenty of fish. Jeff was polite and patient. My wife was treated with respect. She never had to touch a fish. Afterwards Jeff fileted our catch and gave it to us in clean ziploc bags. Definitely a top quality guide service.

We had a great time fishing with Captain Dan and crew. Caught fish, learned a little about Galveston, and enjoyed the beautiful gulf. They took us where the fish were. Tackle was fist class and his boat is perfect. My husband, sons and son-in-law have fished with Captain Dan several times and have always had a great time. Spring break trip

My husband normally hates fishing, but loved this trip. Had so much fun. Captain Dan and 1st Mate Austin, were great in getting us to a location where the fish were hitting pretty steady. Very helpful with organization of a last minute trip. Caught many sheep head, black drum and AmberJack. Thanks for the great experience!

Amazing trip with captain Dan!!

Went out fishing with myself and 4 other buddies with captain Dan and had an awesome time!! Boat was super clean and comfortable and we absolutely killed the fish! Caught blackfin tuna, yellowfin tuna, snapper, and a few other types of fish… Captain Dan knew exactly where the fish would be and he put us on them! I highly recommend fishing addiction charters o anyone, and will be going back out soon!
